1940's Black Velvet & Rhinestone Evening Bag

                                           Beautiful black velvet evening bag, by Godards of England.

                                       Gather black velvet , ornate snap rhinestone button closure.

                     Fully lined in a cream satin material with 2 slip pockets along with vanity mirror

                                            which has its own matching cream satin envelope.

                         The interior is stained but not heavily. The exterior is in pristine condition.

                                The best part to this bag apart from the real velvet material is the

                     3 rows rhinestones and goldtone edging around the top of the bag (see photo 2).

                                                                 Its a really beautiful bag.

          The chain originally goldtone it totally tarnished, but this does not effect the look of the bag

                             and certianly does not take anything away from the quality.

             The bag measures 15.5 x1 9cm the rhinestone edging is 2cm wide, the chain is 10cm
