Very very pretty velvet floral taperstry bag
In super condition with very rich colours this bag could have been a knitting bag originally.
Raised velvet floral pattern back & front with framed top that is brushed goldtone metal .
Finished with a single bamboo handle
The colours are rich and warm with no staining or discolouration of any kind that I can see
Fully lined in a lovely peach coloured satin feel material. No internal pocket.
Hence why I think it may have been used to carry knitting neddles etc.
The condition of this vintage bag is near perfact. There is a small spot stain on the inside lining.
Your can see the spot in the picture above to right (looks like a pin hole)
The biggest fault with it is that one of the screw caps is missing.

But I would think that this would be easily replaced.
It certainly does not take from this very attractive vintage bag in any way
or hinders the use of the bag. It looks to be more of a feature then a necessity
Its individual and the colours are beautiful, with room for all the essentials and more
It measures 15" (inc handle) x 17" (at the bottom, widest point of bag)
